Sulphuric acid + potium hydroxide => potium sulphate + water?

In an experiment, Kelly found that a solution, sulphuric acid in Beaker P turns moist blue litmus paper red while another solution, potium hydroxide in Beaker Q turns moist red litmus paper blue. Subsequently, when Kelly added some of the solution in Beaker Q to beaker P, she found that the solution in Beaker P also turns moist red litmus paper blue. Explain what has happened. Please help! I need the answer in half an hour's time.
