Ways to be late for cl with an excuse?

I have a teacher at my school that is a friend of mine that sometimes will tell me "find a good enough excuse and i'll let you skip homeroom excused" i am very good at finding ways to be late with a excuse but i cant seem to think of much. Any ideas? I constantly get beat up in homeroom and i don't wanna get suspended for fighting back. please help??? None of my teachers will help!
