My daughter wants to use tampons but can't seem to figure it out?

when I started my period me and my friend wanted to use tampons because we were dancers and pads where just a no go zone, we went through 2 box's each trying to figure it out in the space of 24hours lol does she try often, it also helps (if she is currently not on her period) to put a thin layer of Vaseline on the tampon to help guide it smoothly to the correct position.
