Why are the Yankees batting Lance Berkman 4th tonight?

The Yankees must be giving someone a day off. The Yankees would be doing the Rays a big favor tonight if they gave A Rod or Tex a day off. It makes 0 sense to me to give someone a day off today with first place on the line tonight and Berkman I don't think he should be batting 4th. The Yankees have to go full steam ahead in important games like this. Giving a guy off today instead of the next series defines the word DUMB.
