Wondering if I should give up the love of writing poetry ?

Well, in your question you used the word 'love', so I am guessing that you have a pion for writing poetry. Wether you are good at it or not doesn't matter. Even if you don't make a career out of writing poetry (which is a slim possibility for most people anyways), you can always write your poetry for yourself, simply because you love to write it. Don't focus so much on if you are good, or if you should continue...writing doesn't always have to be about that. Sometimes we can just have a hobby because we love to do it.
